Oprah's April issue is the first issue ever of O! magazine that she features somebody else on the cover.. First Lady Michelle Obama! On the shelves March 17th. Great choice of course...but long overdue. I love Oprah just as much as the next person, but it's time for her to actually feature some other strong, successful, black women on the cover of her mag. Thoughts?

Michelle could have easily been on this cover on her own. Oprah is already a trademark she need not overdo it any further
I don't love Oprah. I do love Michelle Obama. I think it's a great cover. I really hope Mrs. Obama had enough say over the editing of the interview to make it sound intelligent and not just misinformed vapidity. I'll have to check out the interview. My granny, who still believe Oprah's hype, subscribes to the mag.
I guess that with Oprah being a brand herself it is hard. But the cover looms nice. Maybe this could lead to new faces on the cover of O
I try to like O but it one expensive magazine when you are barely reading it.
having said that I might just buy it to read that article.
